Thomas George serves as the Chief Financial Officer for The Lexas Companies and its affiliated entities. Tom is responsible for managing the companies’ high level relationships and he serves as the direct liaison for all banking and equity relationships. As a senior executive, Tom plays a key role in contract review and negotiations, joint venture structuring, and feasibility analysis for major transactions.
Tom leads a staff of accounting and administrative professionals and he oversees the areas of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, credit management, tax preparation, and human resources.
Prior to his employment with The Lexas Companies, Tom served 10 years as the Chief Financial Office and subsequently as the Chief Operating Officer of a major multifamily development and management company in Las Vegas. In that capacity, he was responsible for providing the financial management of client-managed communities with annual revenues in excess of $50,000,000 per year. The managed portfolio consisted of 43 apartment communities (in excess of 11,000 units) and reporting to over 228 investors. In addition, he was responsible for the personnel management of over 265 employees.
